Your peptide injection log: what goes into each record

Each time you log a dose, you can record:

  • The amount you took, for each compound. You enter it. Peptimes never suggests one.
  • The route: how you took it.
  • The injection site, when the dose was an injection.
  • How you feel, if you want to note it.

A scheduled dose you didn't take can be marked as not taken instead, which Peptimes keeps apart from a dose with no record yet.

If you took several compounds at the same time, you can log them together. Peptimes records what you entered.

The first step of Log a Dose in Peptimes: the date and time, a blend of two compounds with the amount and unit the person entered for each, and the app's note that it doesn't recommend doses.

When a dose is saved

When you save a dose, a Dose logged screen confirms it, with a green "Taken" and, for a scheduled dose, when your next one is.

Routes, and why injection sites only appear for injections

You can record a dose as subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral, sublingual, nasal, topical or other. Which routes you are offered depends on the compound, and "Other" covers anything not listed.

You record an injection site only when the dose was injected, so an oral or topical record never carries a site that didn't apply.

The Peptimes Dose logged screen: a green check, "Saved to your history", the blend with the amount the person entered for each of its two parts, when it was taken and when the next dose is, and a Done button.

Your peptide schedule, set by you

In My Protocols, you set a schedule for each compound you track: times per day, days of the week and a start date. Enter the schedule you already follow. Peptimes shows it on Home and the Calendar and sends reminders for it, but it doesn't choose, check or change your amounts or times.

If you take several compounds in one injection, you can set that up as a blend. You create it yourself by choosing the compounds and entering the amounts. Peptimes has no preset blends. A blend is logged as one entry.

Keep track of your vials and pens

Keep track of your vials and pens. Peptimes works out what's left from the doses you log. In Profile, then Vial Inventory, add each one with its compound, the amount in it, the date you opened it and, if you like, a use-by date. It works for compounds you added yourself too.

Each vial shows what's left of the amount you entered, under Open, Not opened yet or Finished, and Log a Dose offers your open vial for that compound. An empty vial says Empty, and you can mark it finished or delete it from its card. Two reminders are off unless you turn them on: one when an open vial is running low, and one on the use-by date you entered. What's left is your own record, worked out from what you entered and logged, not a measurement.

Peptimes Vial Inventory with open vials and what's left of each. In the recording, a dose is logged from Home, Log a Dose offers the open vial for that compound, the dose is saved with the time it was logged, and back in Vial Inventory that vial shows less left and one more dose.

Something the Library doesn't have

Track something the Library doesn't have by adding your own compound. Give it a name and choose mg, mcg or IU. You can add one from Log a Dose, My Protocols, Vial Inventory, or Profile, then My Compounds.

It shows with a silver tile and a "Custom" tag. Peptimes has no information about it, so it has no Library page and no Estimated Levels. You can change its name or unit until you've used it, and delete it in My Compounds once no protocol uses it. It can't be part of a blend yet, and if the Library already has it, Peptimes points you to that entry instead.

Peptimes My Compounds, empty. In the recording, a compound is added by name with its unit, it appears with a Custom tag, and then its name is edited before it has been used.

Peptide reminders for each schedule

Reminders are notifications on your iPhone: one reminder per dose, at the dose time or a set number of minutes before it. A standard reminder shows the compound and the amount on your lock screen, and tapping it opens Log a Dose. A "not logged yet" follow-up reminds you again if a dose hasn't been recorded, 2 hours after the dose time as standard; you can change it or turn it off. For when you'd rather keep a compound's name off your lock screen, discreet reminders, follow-ups included, show only "You have a reminder" and "Open the app to see it."

Peptimes Notifications settings: reminders on; dose reminders at the dose time, or 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes before, or a custom time; a follow-up if a dose isn't logged, after 2 hours here; the daily check-in reminder at 8:00 PM; and the start of vial reminders.

Reading your records back

  • Home shows Today's Doses: what is due now, what came earlier today, what is later, tomorrow's doses and what you have already logged. A week strip lets you open other days, and you can review past days and record doses you didn't log at the time. "Log all" works through several doses in one pass.
  • Calendar has month, week and day views, and lets you record or answer doses on past days.
  • Dose History lists every dose you've logged, newest first. Search by name, or tap a chip to see one compound's doses. With a compound selected, a summary line shows how many doses of it you have logged, the date of the last one and the average time between them.
  • Insights draws on what you log: a weight trend, a body map of where you've injected and how recently, side effects over time, and how you feel. The body map is a history of your own entries. It never suggests where to inject next. More on that in injection-site history.

A daily check-in adds energy, mood, sleep, water, steps, workout and cardio minutes, calories and macros, side effects with intensity, and notes, for the days you want more than the dose.

Peptimes Home screen: a week strip, a note about doses not logged on previous days, then Today's Doses with 2 of 6 logged, a blend due now, three more doses later today and two already logged, each with its time.

The Library and its status labels

The Library is the app's reference list of compounds. It isn't limited to peptides, and not every entry is an approved medicine, so each entry carries an FDA status label: FDA Approved, Not FDA-Approved, Approved outside the US, Phase 1, 2 or 3 Trials, Dietary Supplement, Compoundable or Compounding Restricted. You can also track medicines such as finasteride, dutasteride and minoxidil.

A label describes the entry. It isn't a recommendation, and it can't describe the specific product you have, because approval belongs to a specific product, route and use.

Status pages for compounds in the Library

Each page gives one compound's US status, with sources and the date we checked, and how to log it in Peptimes. Listed A to Z.

Export, and where your records live

Export your records as CSV or JSON, for yourself or for an appointment. Exporting your records for an appointment covers what to send and how.

Your health records are stored on your iPhone. Peptimes doesn't keep a copy of your records on its servers, so export your data to keep one. Your account (email and basic profile) is held by our sign-in provider, and you sign up with email. No ad trackers. How Peptimes handles your data has the details.

What Peptimes doesn't do

  • It never suggests an amount, and it doesn't sell anything.
  • It is an iPhone app. There's no Android app and no web app.
  • You can track the compounds that are in the Library. If one you use is missing, the app's feedback board is where you can ask for it.

Price and availability

Coming soon to the App Store. Planned launch pricing: $9.99/month or $69.99/year, with a 14-day free trial. After the 14-day trial, Peptimes needs a subscription. See planned pricing.

FAQ

Does Peptimes tell me how much to take?

No. Peptimes records the amounts and schedules you enter, and it never suggests an amount. Questions about your doses belong with your prescriber or a licensed clinician.

Can I record compounds that are taken different ways?

Yes. Each dose has its own route, chosen from the routes offered for that compound. An injection site is asked for only when the dose was an injection.

Can I track peptides, GLP-1 medications and testosterone in one app?

Yes. The Library covers 200+ compounds, and each one keeps its own schedule, reminders and history in the same app, so you don't need a separate tracker for each.

If I track a GLP-1 medication, is there a page for that?

Yes: GLP-1 tracker app. Testosterone has its own page too: TRT tracker app.
