What Foundayo is

Foundayo is made by Eli Lilly and Company and marketed in the US by Lilly USA, LLC. Its active ingredient is orforglipron, and it's taken by mouth. FDA approved it on April 1, 2026, under NDA 220934, as a new molecular entity: an active ingredient FDA hadn't approved before.

Its label lists one form, film-coated tablets supplied in bottles, and Drugs@FDA lists every Foundayo tablet as a prescription product. The label was revised most recently in July 2026; we checked it, and the application, on October 27, 2026.

Foundayo's status in the US

FDA Approved, for the uses in its label. They're set out in the Foundayo label on DailyMed.

Prescription only, according to Drugs@FDA.

FDA's position is that "Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved," and Foundayo's approval is for Lilly's tablets, taken by mouth, for the uses in the label. Another product doesn't gain it by containing orforglipron. More on what "compounded" means.

Drugs@FDA lists Foundayo as the only product with orforglipron. Other GLP-1 brands contain other ingredients, and most are injections; Ozempic and Wegovy also come as tablets, but as semaglutide. The brands and ingredients guide sets the brands side by side.

Starting, stopping or changing medicines is up to your prescriber. If a change does happen, your Foundayo doses stay in your history under orforglipron. Records when you switch medicines helps you keep the two easy to tell apart.

Tracking Foundayo in Peptimes

In the Library, Foundayo is found under orforglipron. Search by a brand name such as Foundayo, and you'll find the entry for its active ingredient. To get reminders, add orforglipron as a protocol: tap +, choose Add a Protocol, search Foundayo or orforglipron, and set the days and times you already follow.

Logging a tablet takes a moment. The route is oral, the only one Peptimes offers for orforglipron, so there's no injection site step, and Foundayo doses never appear on the Insights body map. Each entry keeps:

  • the amount on your prescription, typed in by you
  • the time you took it
  • how you feel, with ratings and notes, if you want them

The protocol is named orforglipron. To keep the brand beside a dose, write "Foundayo" in its Notes, and it appears on the dose's summary.

Quiet reminders for your Foundayo tablets

A reminder arrives at each scheduled dose time, or the number of minutes ahead you pick, and a "Not logged" follow-up comes later if you haven't recorded it. You can move or turn off the follow-up.

Turn on Discreet, and every dose reminder and its follow-up name neither Foundayo nor an amount: they read "You have a reminder" and "Open the app to see it." Peptimes' name and icon still show, as on any iPhone notification. To hide the text on the lock screen as well, set Show Previews to When Unlocked.

Peptimes Notifications settings, Privacy: Discreet reminders switched on, which make reminders say only "You have a reminder" with no compound or amount, and a note on hiding that text from the lock screen in iOS Settings, where iOS still shows Peptimes' name and icon.

Seeing every Foundayo dose

The Calendar shows your scheduled and logged doses by month, week or day. Open a past day to add a tablet you forgot to log, or tap "I didn't take it". Dose History lists every entry newest first, and tapping orforglipron shows only those.

Export everything as CSV or JSON to keep a copy or bring to an appointment. Your health records are stored on your iPhone; your records may not come across to a new iPhone, so export a copy first. How Peptimes handles your data explains more.

FAQ

Can I track a tablet like Foundayo in Peptimes?

Yes. Orforglipron's route in Peptimes is oral, so a Foundayo dose has no injection site step. You record the amount you took and, if you like, how you feel.

Does searching Foundayo find it?

Yes. Typing Foundayo in Library search, or in Add a Protocol, finds orforglipron, the entry for its active ingredient. The app has no entry under the brand name itself.

Does Peptimes tell me my Foundayo dose?

No. You type in the amount your prescriber gave you, and Peptimes never suggests an amount. Questions about the medicine itself are for your prescriber.

Is a compounded product the same as Foundayo?

No. Foundayo is Eli Lilly and Company's FDA-approved tablet, and FDA states that "Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved." Foundayo's approval doesn't extend to any other product.
