Track your Wegovy doses in Peptimes
Wegovy is a Novo Nordisk medicine that contains semaglutide, and it comes both as injections and as tablets. Peptimes gives you a private place on your iPhone to log each Wegovy dose, in whichever form your prescriber chose.
You enter the amounts and the schedule; Peptimes never suggests an amount, and it doesn't sell medicines. Anything about the treatment itself belongs with your prescriber.
What Wegovy is
Wegovy is made by Novo Nordisk, and its active ingredient is semaglutide. The injection and the tablets sit on separate FDA applications, though DailyMed shows them on one shared label.
- Wegovy injection (NDA 215256, first approved June 4, 2021), for use under the skin. Its label lists three kinds of device: single-dose pens, single-dose syringes with the needle attached, and Wegovy FlexTouch, a pen for one person that holds several doses.
- Wegovy tablets (NDA 218316, approved December 22, 2025), taken by mouth.
Checked on DailyMed and Drugs@FDA on October 25, 2026.
Wegovy's status in the US
FDA Approved, for the uses in its label. The label sets those out for the injection and the tablets separately, so read the section for your form in the Wegovy label on DailyMed.
Prescription only: Drugs@FDA lists every Wegovy product, injection and tablet, as a prescription product.
A compounded semaglutide product is not Wegovy, whatever its packaging says. FDA's questions and answers on compounding put it plainly: "Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved." Wegovy's approval covers Novo Nordisk's own products, each for a specific route and use, not everything that contains semaglutide. More on what "compounded" means.
Related brands: Ozempic and Rybelsus
The same active ingredient is in Ozempic (injections and tablets) and in Rybelsus (tablets), both also from Novo Nordisk. Ozempic tablets and Rybelsus tablets share one application and one label. The brands and ingredients guide lists them.
Moving between them is for your prescriber to decide. If it happens, our guide to records when you switch medicines helps you keep one clear history across the change.
Logging Wegovy in Peptimes
You'll find Wegovy under semaglutide. Search by a brand name such as Wegovy, and you'll find the entry for its active ingredient. For your schedule, add semaglutide as a protocol: tap +, then Add a Protocol, search Wegovy or semaglutide, and enter the days and times you already follow.
Choose the route that matches each dose. Pen and syringe doses are subcutaneous, the default for semaglutide, and ask where you injected. Tablet doses are oral and skip the site. Peptimes logs every Wegovy device the same way, so if the device matters to you, write "FlexTouch" or "single-dose pen" in the dose's Notes.
With each dose you also record the amount you took (typed by you; Peptimes never suggests one) and how you feel.
Reminders that keep Wegovy private
Each scheduled dose gets its own reminder, at the time you set or a few minutes before. Switch on Discreet, and the reminder and its "Not logged" follow-up show no medicine name or amount, only "You have a reminder" and "Open the app to see it." Like any iPhone notification, it still shows Peptimes' name and icon.

Looking back over your Wegovy doses
The Calendar shows each scheduled and logged dose by month, week or day, and a past day is where you record a dose you forgot or mark one as "I didn't take it". Dose History lists them all, newest first, with semaglutide one tap away. Injected doses also appear on the Insights body map, which shows where you've injected and how recently, never where to inject next.
Body measurements and weigh-ins are there too, each one optional.
Taking your records to an appointment
Export everything as CSV or JSON and bring the file along, or send it ahead. Exporting your records walks through the steps.
Your health records are stored on your iPhone. Your records may not come across to a new iPhone, so export a copy first.

FAQ
Can I log both Wegovy injections and Wegovy tablets?
Yes. Log either one under semaglutide and pick the route: subcutaneous for a pen or syringe, oral for a tablet. Only injected doses ask for a site.
Is compounded semaglutide the same as Wegovy?
No. Wegovy is Novo Nordisk's FDA-approved product. FDA says "Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved," so a compounded version has no share in Wegovy's approval.
Does Peptimes know which Wegovy pen I use?
No. A single-dose pen, a syringe and FlexTouch all log the same way. If you want the device on record, put it in the dose's Notes.
Does Peptimes set my Wegovy schedule?
No. You enter the days and times you already follow, and the amount, and Peptimes never suggests an amount. Changes to either are for your prescriber.
